Using the Journal Assistant
- When creating a journal entry, enter the basic information about your activities
- Click the "AI Generate" button to expand your entry with more details
- The system will analyze your input and generate a more comprehensive entry
- Review and edit the generated content before saving
Report Generation
- When creating a weekly report, click "AI Generate" to create a report from your journal entries
- The system will analyze all journal entries for the week and organize them into the LION format:
- Last Week: Achievements and completed tasks
- Issues: Problems encountered and how they were resolved
- Opportunities: New possibilities identified
- Next Week: Commitments for the coming week
- Review the generated report and make any necessary edits before submission
Issues and Roadblocks
The journal system includes a dedicated section for capturing issues or roadblocks you encountered, following the LION model. This helps ensure these important details are properly reflected in your weekly reports.
AI Best Practices
To get the most out of the AI assistant:
- Be specific in your initial entries - more detail leads to better AI generation
- Always review AI-generated content for accuracy
